This strategic collaboration aims to work collectively towards making Bulandshahr district carbon neutral, in alignment with India’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2070.

Under this MoU, Satyam Foundation will implement and support multiple climate-positive and eco-friendly initiatives, including:

  • Parali (crop residue) management to prevent air pollution
  • Promotion of organic farming practices
  • Solar power adoption
  • Distribution and promotion of solar chulhas

These initiatives are designed to reduce carbon emissions, promote clean energy, empower rural communities, and encourage sustainable livelihoods.

This milestone initiative has been led by Mr. Nitin Sherawat, President of Satyam Foundation, whose vision and leadership continue to drive impactful grassroots action across India. Under his guidance, the Foundation has consistently worked towards integrating environmental responsibility with community development.
