This strategic collaboration aims to work collectively towards making Bulandshahr district carbon neutral, in alignment with India’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2070.

Under this MoU, Satyam Foundation will implement and support multiple climate-positive and eco-friendly initiatives, including:

Our President Mr. Nitin Sherawat’s Engagement with IFC – World Bank Group on Climate Action

Our President Mr. Nitin Sherawat’s Engagement with IFC – World Bank Group on Climate Action

Satyam Foundation continues to strengthen its commitment towards environmental sustainability and climate action through proactive leadership and global engagement. Recently, Our President, Mr. Nitin Sherawat, had the privilege of exploring the development initiatives and impact assessment frameworks of the IFC – World Bank Group and engaging in a meaningful discussion with Mr. Shalabh Tandon.

A Shared Insight on Climate Change

During this interaction, one powerful insight stood out clearly: the world is one family facing the common challenge of climate change and global warming. Addressing this challenge requires not only unified global policies but also the capacity to mobilize millions of people across nations towards environmental sustainability.

Mr. Nitin Sherawat emphasized that while international institutions play a vital role, long-term impact is possible only when global vision is supported by strong grassroots participation.

Bharat’s Cultural Bond with Nature

Highlighting the Indian context, Mr. Sherawat shared that in Bharat, people have a deep-rooted faith and emotional connection with nature—be it rivers, trees, forests, or land. This cultural bond proves that small, mindful actions at the individual and community level can collectively create large-scale environmental impact.

With focused efforts and well-designed policies, this natural affinity can evolve into stronger environmental awareness across communities.

Pathways to a Sustainable Future

The discussions reflected the need to channel this awareness into concrete outcomes, including:

  • Promotion of green and renewable energy solutions
  • Creation of sustainable and environment-friendly livelihoods
  • Development of eco-friendly and climate-resilient zones
  • Encouragement of responsible environmental habits at the community level

Such initiatives align closely with Satyam Foundation’s mission of combining social development with environmental responsibility.

Local Action Meets Global Collaboration

Mr. Nitin Sherawat strongly believes that environmentally sustainable habits have the power to change the world. When local action is supported by global collaboration, the result is a resilient and sustainable future for generations to come.

This engagement with IFC – World Bank Group further strengthens Satyam Foundation’s resolve to contribute actively towards climate action, environmental awareness, and people-driven sustainability initiatives across India.

Under the leadership of Mr. Nitin Sherawat, Satyam Foundation remains committed to building a greener, more responsible, and sustainable Bharat.
